Apply for Free School Meals Online

A vibrant assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, including oranges, apples, carrots, strawberries, and corn, arranged on a rustic wooden surface.

Keller ISD is currently accepting Free and Reduced Meal Applications for the 2025-26 school year online.

As of September 1, 2025, meals – both breakfast and lunch – are now free of charge for students who qualify for free and reduced meals.

During the month of August, families who qualified for reduced meals were charged $0.40 per lunch and received free breakfast. However, new laws took effect September 1 to eliminate the $0.40 charge for the remainder of the school year.

Families who think they may be eligible for free or reduced meals are encouraged to apply online by visiting SchoolCafe.com/KellerISD. Paper applications will also be available at each campus or in the Child Nutrition Services Office. Please note that the approval process can take 10 or more days depending on the volume of applications, so families are encouraged to complete the application at their earliest convenience.

In addition, families who do not qualify for free and reduced meal plans, but who plan to purchase lunches for their student(s) in the upcoming school year, are encouraged to visit SchoolCafe.com/KellerISD to update or create your account, add funds, view purchases, and more. Paid student meal prices for the 2025-26 school year are $1.20 for breakfast, $2.95 for elementary lunch, and $3.05 for secondary lunch.
